Analytics
This site uses GoatCounter for privacy-friendly analytics. GoatCounter does not track personal data and is designed to be GDPR compliant without requiring consent notices.
What is collected
GoatCounter collects aggregate, anonymous statistics including:
- Page views (not individual visitors)
- Browser type (e.g., Firefox, Chrome)
- Operating system (e.g., Windows, macOS)
- General location (country/region level, derived from IP but not stored)
- Screen size
- Referrer (where you came from)
What is NOT collected or stored
- IP addresses
- Personal identifiers or tracking IDs
- Full User-Agent strings
Cookies
GoatCounter's tracking script does not use cookies, localStorage, or any other browser storage. Sessions are tracked using a hash of IP + User-Agent stored only in server memory for up to 8 hours, with no way to identify individuals.
This site uses Cloudflare for security and performance. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security purposes:
- __cf_bm – Bot management cookie, expires after 30 minutes of inactivity
- cf_clearance – Set after completing a security challenge, if required
These cookies are essential for security and do not track you for advertising or analytics. See Cloudflare's Cookie Policy for details.
Infrastructure providers
This site uses essential infrastructure providers to operate:
- Cloudflare – CDN and security. As a reverse proxy, Cloudflare necessarily processes all requests (IP addresses, headers, request data) to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- NearlyFreeSpeech.NET – Web hosting. The server hosts this site but does not log visitor IP addresses or User-Agent strings (access logs are disabled).
- GoatCounter – Analytics (hosted by Hetzner in Finland/Germany). See GoatCounter's Privacy Policy.
No data is sold or shared with third parties for advertising or tracking purposes.
Your rights
